Several Upcoming Glass Expos™ Offer Education and Networking Opportunities

Glass Expos™ has several trade shows slated for 2021 and 2022 so far, giving glass and glazing industry professionals throughout the U.S. a chance to experience relevant educational seminars, trade show floors featuring the latest industry products and networking opportunities. All will have appropriate health protocols in place.

Glass TEXpo™ ’21

Glass TEXpo™ ’21 will return to San Antonio’s Henry B. González Convention Center, May 20-21, 2021. The trade show floor will be open from 2:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 20 and from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday, May 21.

The educational program will kick off Thursday at 8:30 a.m. with an economic update from Nick St. Denis, director of research for Key Media & Research, parent company of USGlass magazine. Other sessions include “Make Hardware Your Next Easy Profit,” presented by Banner Solutions director Mary Hester; “Update on Current Texas Employment and Labor Laws,” presented by Kelly Stamy, associate attorney with Cromeens Law Firm; “Effects of Hurricanes on Insulating Glass Unit Performance,” presented by Bill Lingnell of Lingnell Consulting; and more.

The keynote session, “They Are Saying More Than You Think—How to Hire, Retain and Lead the Best,” with body language expert Janine Driver begins at 1 p.m. on Thursday.

Glass Expo Southeast™ ’22

Glass Expo Southeast™ ’22 is set to take place January 6-7, 2022 at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Fla. The two-day event will feature a trade show floor informational seminars and networking opportunities.

The show floor will be open from 2-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 6 and from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday, January 7. Educational sessions will include “Glazing System Delegated Design,” presented by JEI Structural Engineering founder and president Stewart Jeske; “Understanding Glass Railing Codes, Specs and Materials,” presented by Kuraray America market manager, North America Mark Jacobson; “The ABC’s of the Glass Business,” presented by Lyle Hill, president of both Keytech North America and Glass.com®; and many more.

Window Film and Auto Glass Conferences to Showcase the Industry’s Best

Auto Glass Week™ and the International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ (WFCT) are set to take place January 12-14, 2021 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. Health and safety protocols will be in place. The events bring together all segments of the window film and auto glass industry for education, a trade show and nail-biting competitions.

Auto glass installers and window film tinters from around the world will come together to compete for the title of  “World’s Best” in several divisions, including architectural window film. Industry veterans judge the competitors’ final product as well as their procedures, safety and cleanliness. Competitor registration deadline closes November 23, 2020.

Attendees of both shows can choose to attend in-person or virtually. Attendee pre-registration is now open and closes on November 30.
