Glass TEXpo™ and Glass Expo Pacific Northwest™ Bring Regional Education and Networking in 2018

Spring 2018 brings two chances for glass and metal companies across the U.S. to gain education, find new suppliers, and to drum up business: Glass TEXpo™ ’18 on May 10-11, 2018 and Glass Expo Pacific Northwest™ (GEPN) ’18, May 31 to June 1, 2018. In the fall, Glass Expo Midwest™ (GEMS) will take place November 8-9 in Indianapolis at the JW Marriott Indianapolis.

The two-day events are dedicated to providing education about architectural glass, metal and general business management. They include informational sessions, an extensive trade show floor of industry suppliers and networking opportunities.

Glass TEXpo™ ’18

Glass TEXpo, co-sponsored by the Texas Glass Association, USGlass Magazine,™ ant the Architects’ Guide to Glass & Metal, is returning to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio.

Participants who register by Friday, April 20, 2018 will receive a pre-registration discount of up to $69 depending on the type of registration.

The event host hotel, the San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk Hotel, is offering a discounted room rate of $169/night plus tax for a single/double.

Glass Expo Pacific Northwest™ ’18

GEPN, co-sponsored by the Wash-ington Glass Association, USGlass magazine,, and Architects’ Guide to Glass & Metal, will take place at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue in Bellevue, Wash. (suburban Seattle).

glasstec 2018 to Focus on Technology

The 25th anniversary edition of glasstec will take place in a re-vamped format October 23-26, 2018, in Dusseldorf, Germany. In addition to a new look, the conference concept will deliver even more added value for all visitor target groups.

Kicking off the event on the morning before the show will be the “function meets glass” technology conference. On Tuesday, the partners HVG-DGG and BV Glas will present the topics of glass production and markets. The thematic focus on Wednesday will be on new and future technologies, presented by the Ger-man Engineering Federation (VDMA). The increased dovetailing of theory and practice will again become clear on Thursday, in an architecture-focused morning program designed jointly by the North Rhine-Westphalian Chamber of Architects and the technical scientific conference “engineered transparency.”
