Richard F. Danek

Richard F. Danek, vice president of commercial operations at Anchor-Ventana Glass, passed away on November 20, 2019 at the age of 60 after a brief battle with cancer. Danek, of Corn Hill, Texas, was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church and Moravian Hall, both in Corn Hill.

He began his career at Anchor-Ventana Glass in 1978 and was instrumental in the growth of the company during his tenure. His professional affiliations include the Architectural Glass and Metal Certification Council, where he was a founding member; North American Contractor Certification certification committee; Association of Building Contractors (ABC Central Texas); Association of General Contractors (AGC Austin); National Glass Association; and Texas Glass Association.

Danek is survived by his wife, Lisa Danek, of 37 years; his children, Brandon Danek and fiancée Mariah Tandy, Kimberly Middleton (Danek) and husband Brian; granddaughter Madeline Marie Middleton; brothers, Jodie (Patsy) Danek, and Raymond (Jane) Danek; sister Dorothy (Larry) Kokel; and many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed his cattle and farming operations as well as all types of hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed the accomplishments of his children and traveling with his family.

The family requests that memorials in Danek’s name be made to the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Jarrell, Texas.
