Salem Fabrication Technologies Group has promoted several employees. Officials announced that Micah Clodgo and Kent Kasem were promoted to eastern and western regional sales director within the Salem Fabrication Supplies division. Ben Abney has also been named the new mid-Atlantic regional account manager.

Clodgo started at Salem in 2006. His first role was in the warehouse before he moved to inside sales. He then became a regional account manager.

“My gratitude for Salem runs deep,” says Clodgo. “From the warehouse to this latest role, each opportunity has been a stepping stone, and I’ll never forget or take them for granted. The genuine employee stock ownership plan culture and the belief that hard work pays off are tangible realities here. It’s a testament to never giving up.”

Kasem has been with Salem for six years. He has 15 years of sales experience overall and holds several business certifications. Officials say his deep understanding of the glass industry makes him a valuable asset to the Salem organization.

Abney assumes his new role with more than 13 years of experience in glass manufacturing and fabrication. Officials say his expertise ranges from precision cutting, edging and installing glass to collaborative work with U.S. and international vendors.

Officials add that Abney will “leverage his wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to cater to existing customers’ tooling, supplies, material handling, and machinery needs while expanding Salem’s footprint across the Mid-Atlantic region, spanning from Maryland to South Carolina.”
