Michael Rosato

Salem Flat Glass & Mirror has promoted two machinery sales engineers to positions as sales directors. Michael Rosato is now machinery sales director for the West Coast and David Anderson is now machinery sales director for the East Coast.

Rosato is a veteran in the glass industry with over 36 years of experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and business administration. Beginning early in his career, Rosato acquired additional customer-focused sales training to hone his professional skills, according to the company, which adds that his experience in the shop, around machinery, and in the field has allowed him to establish deep customer relationships and to work closely with manufacturers to develop and improve their machinery lines. Rosato has held various posts within the industry including glass fabrication manager, plant manager and general manager. He joined Salem in 2012 as a regional account manager, offering fabrication equipment and robotic solutions as well as tooling and supplies to customers.

David Anderson

Anderson is a seasoned fabrication solution provider with 23 years of experience in the glass and stone industries. He is a graduate of West Virginia University and began working in the glass industry directly out of school. He started on the production shop floor cutting glass on a manual table and eventually worked his way through many facets of the industry as a whole, including cutting, operating in-line edgers and bevellers, estimating curtainwalls, storefronts and architectural hardware, and programming and operating CNC machinery. Anderson has held industry positions in production, operations, management and sales. He joined Salem in 2017 as a machinery sales engineer, selling Salem’s full line of glass fabrication equipment.

“We have an extremely talented team at Salem and I am delighted to promote Michael and David to these machinery sales director positions,” says Dan Reinhart, vice president of sales and marketing. Together, their industry and product knowledge, drive to succeed and persistence, will serve them and our company very well in this expanded sales role. We look forward to their success in providing solutions and enhancing our customer relationships.”
