Turkish glass manufacturer Sisecam Group reported consolidated net sales of $2.62 billion (7.4 billion Turkish Lira) and a net profit of $284.65 million (TL 805 million) for the full year of 2015. Its total investments reached $390 million (TL 1.1 billion) in the same period.

The company serves all primary areas of the glass industry, including flat glass. It has manufacturing activities in 13 countries in three continents and produced 4.2 million tons of glass last year, according to a release. Sisecam reported its international sales reached approximately $1.3 billion in 2015.

“Our aim is to further strengthen our financial structure so that the Group continues to grow consistently in the future,” says Dr. Ahmet Kırman, vice chairperson and chief executive officer. “We are committed to optimizing our production facilities at an increased pace, while continuing to optimize costs through efficient methods. We are constantly evaluating the policies to be followed for sustainable and profitable growth and operational excellence, taking into consideration the general outlook of the global economy, as well as the geographical areas where we operate.”
