Skyline Design has partnered with Decorative Films to launch a new studio called Film Studio. According to officials, Decorative Films will serve as the sole producer and supplier of Skyline Design’s decorative privacy solutions for glass applications.

The Film Studio collection comprises 15 versatile patterns adapted for window film at varying levels of privacy, showcasing the artistry of Chicago-based Skyline Design and partnering with designers such as Suzanne Tick. The collection is exclusive to Decorative Films, a decorative privacy window film company based in Frederick, Maryland.

Officials explain that the partnership “merges the beauty of decorative glass with the versatility of decorative window films, creating a product that’s functional, attractive and accessible for residential and commercial glass applications.”

Products will include patterns such as Sateen, consisting of undulating lines that mimic fine fabric; Brambles, a visual of overlapping flowering branches; and Shimmer, twirling discs in a cascading curtain.

The Film Studio will also supply gradating privacy bands, Horizon and Perspective, designed by product designer Suzanne Tick. The films are geared toward privacy and can be used on decorative and architectural applications for glass.
