Skyline Windows promoted Matthew Kraus to senior vice president, which the company says is “a natural evolution for Matthew,” whose family founded Skyline Windows in 1921.

Kraus is being groomed by his father, current Skyline Windows CEO Steven Kraus, to eventually take the reins as CEO, according to the company.

Kraus is currently responsible for facilitating internal structure development for future growth, dealing with systems development and factory improvements. In his new role, he will lead all sales and marketing initiatives. He will also help to guide the company’s strategic direction and assure that planning is in place to support the sales effort.

“Skyline prides itself on having a solid, well established and proactive leadership,” says Richard Apfel, president of Skyline Windows. “As senior vice president, Matthew will bring a fresh, tech-savvy and forward thinking contribution to our management team as the future of our company takes shape.”
