Richard (Dick) Reinhart

Richard (Dick) Reinhart died on Monday, April 27, 2020 at 77 years old. Reinhart spent many years at Southwest Glass & Glazing in Albuquerque, N.M. He was also active the Glass Round Table group of West Coast glass-related companies, which began in 1980. Reinhart was elected Knight of the Round Table in 1997.

“Dick’s presence in the glass industry was earned by the respect the industry had for Southwest Glass & Glazing. When I was leading Harmon for Apogee in their expansion years, we were unable to penetrate the Albuquerque market due to the presence of Southwest,” says Jerry Anderson, retired executive with Apogee Enterprises.

Reinhart is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda; son, Steven Reinhart and wife Kristie of Lubbock, Texas; daughter, Traci Hertrich and husband Robert of Albuquerque, N.M.; grandchildren, Ryan and Temple Reinhart, Chase and Lauren Bailey, and Gavin and Grayson Hertrich; brother, Tony and wife Geri; and sisters-in-law, Cynthia Devlin, Dian Pack and Sharla Reinhart.

A celebration of life will be held when it is safe to gather. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to ABC Apprentice Scholarship Trust at 2821 Broadway Blvd. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
