Pertici North America and Stürtz Machinery have announced an alliance of the two fenestration equipment companies. Stürtz officials said the hope was to expand the company’s presence in the aluminum fabrication arena.

“While our success and growth to this point has focused on the PVC fenestration market in North America, we feel like the time is right to expand our reach into the aluminum fabrication market,” says Ellis Dillen, president and CEO of Stürtz Machinery.

Italy-based Pertici began by manufacturing equipment for the fenestration industry worldwide in 1965 expanding to North America in 2015 by opening a facility in Reno, Nevada.

This partnership means expanded capabilities and support for Pertici by combining facilities and experience with professionals at Stürtz. These expanded resources include sales, engineering, project management and field service, plus local access to spare parts in Twinsburg, Ohio.

“This alliance fits our strategy to better serve our existing fenestration customers while opening up a whole new growth opportunity in markets we haven’t served,” says Dillen.
