Glazing contractors can earn the NACC credential in one or more of eight categories based on the company’s operations.

Synergy Glass Company is the first glazing contractor in Louisiana to earn North American Contractor Certification (NACC). NACC is an ANSI-accredited third-party credential that recognizes architectural glass and metal contractors who adhere to best practices for quality, safety and business operations.

To earn the NACC credential, a glazing contractor undergoes a series of business and glazing process assessments and must document and implement written procedures in a required Quality Management System. Synergy Glass started its NACC application in January. It will be evaluated annually to confirm its practices remain at the high standards NACC requires.

“We’re immensely proud to be the first glazing contractor in Louisiana to achieve NACC,” says president and CEO Gareth Reardon. “This accreditation reaffirms our unwavering dedication to excellence in every aspect of our operations, from stringent quality control measures to safety.”

NACC is a comprehensive company qualification requiring the participation of all employees. Robert Beebe, Synergy Glass’ quality control and safety manager, headed the certification process. He worked alongside Reardon and vice presidents Chad Hall and Roy Sandrock III.

The NACC program has certified glazing subcontractors in 26 states and Canada. Glazing contractors can earn the NACC credential in one or more of eight categories based on the company’s operations: interior and exterior entry systems, building envelope low-rise, building envelope high-rise, active glass, guardrails, service work, interior glazing and horizontal glazing. Synergy Glass earned NACC in all eight categories.
