Jesse Dorado

The Frameless Hardware Company LLC (FHC) has appointed Jesse Dorado its brand manager for architectural hardware. The 28-year glass and hardware specialist will oversee technical support, specification consultation and estimating services for FHC’s architectural hardware division. The brand comprises all-glass entrances and storefronts, door controls and hardware, and access control systems.

Previously, Dorado served as vice president of sales at Southern California-based Grand View Glass & Metal, and most recently as architectural hardware access control team leader for C.R. Laurence. In his new role, Dorado will support and grow FHC’s offerings of door rails, panic devices, sidelites, headers, handles, closers, pivots and sliding door systems, according to the company.

“Accurate quotes, proper product selection and comprehensive project support are all essential to stakeholders across project delivery from specification to installation,” says Barry Sutherland, senior vice president of sales. “Jesse’s extensive experience on both the hardware and glass fabrication sides gives architects, fabricators and glaziers a true project partner. The (bilingual) team he’s building is sure to be a differentiator in our markets.”

  1. Excellent point about paying properly. Some companies train and train and train but don’t pay a livable wage or offer bonus or moderate to high bonuses, Other companies look to recruit trained people that have the training and pay them more.
We are back to either meeting in the middle or better utilization of the employees strength. Many have strengths but are not in that department, Others are in the right area but lack support, encouragement and recognition. Pay your people, encourage them and recognize them. Finally, ask them to make suggestion on how to improve. Process, product& personally.
