Bernard Deioma

Wheaton Sprague Building Envelope (WS) has hired three people to design and engineering positions across multiple branches.

Bernard “Nardo” Deioma, II has joined WS as BIM manager/specialist at the company’s Ohio headquarters. Deioma comes to WS from FMD Architects, where he was the manager for all BIM projects. His experience also includes providing modeling expertise at Turner Construction, ImaginIt Technologies, Herschman Architects and Lawrence Dykes Goodenburger, Vandegrift Clancy Architects.

“[Deioma] comes to us with some great experience in the world of BIM and has a valuable depth to his BIM technical knowledge,” says Richard Sprague, vice president of WS. “I am looking forward to doing much great work together and serving our customers better than ever.”

Evelyn King

WS has hired Evelyn King to the staff of the Cary, N.C., office as a project design technician. King recently worked at Accurate Drafting in Norfolk, Va., where she served for nearly 10 years. King has honed highly developed AutoCAD skills, drafting shop drawings for aluminum curtainwall, storefront, windows, sunshades, doors and all glass elevations.

Craig Mertz, branch manager of the Cary office says, “We are pleased to welcome [King] to our North Carolina team! [Her] extensive knowledge of curtainwall and storefront systems will help us to grow as an office, and continue our pursuit of Creating Structure for our clients.”

Christopher Grapentin

Christopher Grapentin, a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota has been hired as an assistant engineer at WS’s Minnesota branch office.

Grapentin brings to WS experience working as a tech aide with 3M and as an engineering aide for Ramsey County Public Works.

Jason Graham

WS also congratulates Jason Graham, Minnesota branch manager, received his Florida Professional Engineer Stamp.
