Kevin Yates

Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions has appointed Kevin Yates as CEO. Yates succeeds Paul Schmitz, who steps down after overseeing the transformation of Trulite into one of the largest architectural glass fabricators in the world, according to the company. Schmitz will transition to board member and executive advisor to the CEO and board.

“We are fortunate to have had Paul lead Trulite over the last six years,” says Bruce Roberson, member of the Trulite board. “From day one, he has had an unmatched commitment to continually driving operational improvements, and has also enhanced our customer service and product quality. Paul’s contributions created a solid foundation that we are confident Kevin will continue to build upon as CEO.”

Yates joins Trulite from Siemens where he was most recently president of the energy management division in the U.S. and Canada. In this role, he led operational and commercial activities for Siemens’ complete power distribution portfolio, from utility transmission to end-user distributions.

“I am incredibly excited to assume this role and for the future of the company,” says Yates. “Trulite has an amazing fabrication capability and a strategy that has continued to deliver solid growth, and we intend to continue that growth organically and through aggressive acquisition. I am looking forward to building on Trulite’s success and ensuring we remain focused on delivering the very best quality products and service to our customers.”
