Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions has decided to close its fabrication facility in New Berlin, Wis., temporarily after at least one employee there tested positive for COVID-19. The location is expected to re-open in approximately two weeks. New Berlin is a suburb of Milwaukee, an area that has been especially hard hit by the virus. People generally are encouraged to self-quarantine for 14 days after exposure to the virus, as symptoms usually occur within two weeks.

“Our first priority is the protection our employees and providing safe working conditions,” said Trulite CEO Kevin Yates. “Protecting our customers is also paramount. This is why we made the decision to close temporarily. One of the great values Trulite offers is a national footprint for glass and aluminum fabrication. Leveraging the Trulite network, we have been able to move orders to other Trulite locations so customers should see minimal disruption. First priority is the safety of our employees, but we place similar priority on the protection of our customers,” said Yates.
