Julie Huelle

Unicel Architectural, a manufacturer of vision and daylight control solutions, has appointed Julie Huelle to lead its brand and customer development efforts in the southwestern U.S. market including California, Nevada and Arizona. Huelle joins Unicel with more than 15 years of architectural sales representation in the commercial, healthcare, academic, government and high-end residential sectors.

“Julie brings great energy and a consultative sales approach to the team,” says Viviane Chan, director of sales for Unicel. “She understands architects’ needs and builds long-lasting relationships based on her ability to provide knowledgeable solutions for discerning design requirements. Julie will be instrumental in leading market development and customer relations in the region, and we are pleased to welcome her on board.”

Previously, Huelle held sales and management positions with glazing manufacturers including Walker Acid Etched Glass, Major Industries Daylighting Systems and Kalwall Daylighting Systems, where she honed her expertise in the glazing market. She also served in sales and marketing roles at glass and glazing contractors Carmel Architectural Sales and Romanoski Glass.

“I was attracted to Unicel for its best-in-class daylighting and shading products,” says Huelle. “Unicel’s award-winning Vision Control internal louvers and its solar shading solutions have a strong resonance in the southwest where the control of light and heat are of particular consideration. Long before ‘green’ became an industry bandwagon, Unicel was already focused on the development of products to better serve environmental purposes. I look forward to working with architects and designers in the region to help them deliver exceptional outcomes for every project.”
