Vos Glass is opening a second location in Lansing, Mich., to service existing and new customers in the mid-Michigan area. This expansion comes due to demand outside of the company’s original, Grand Rapids, Mich., location, according to the announcement.

The satellite office will be led by Kenneth Emrich, an industry expert in the areas of project management, estimating and business development for glazing contractors. During Emrich’s 23-year-long career, he has proven a strong commitment to a modular approach to fabrication and installation, according to the company.

“Ken’s proven ability to comprehend both office and field viewpoints, while seamlessly integrating them together, enables our company to not only expand our customer reach but to also expedite installation while reducing project-manpower requirements,” says John Turner, Vos Glass owner and vice president.

Vos Glass-Grand Rapids currently has residential and service components. Vos Glass-Lansing will focus solely on commercial glazing projects of all sizes. The Grand Rapids location will continue to function as the company’s headquarters, containing all administration and fabrication responsibilities, while the Lansing location will accommodate regional customer demand with its own team of field and office personal.
