Industry associations and organizations support Glass TEXpo™ ’16 by promoting the show to their members and hosting events during the show. This includes the Texas Glass Association (TGA), a not-for-profit association that continues to offer valuable information, educational events and social activities to its members on a regular basis.
The association is also a cornerstone to the surrounding communities and state supporters with the auxiliary opportunities they make available. Glass TEXpo ’16 continues to support the enhancement and growth of the association, its benefits and the special programs it offers in order to ensure its future success and growth.
As a co-sponsor of Glass TEXpo™ ’16, TGA has organized a donation program in memory of Jerry Wright for Beautiful Feet Ministries. The goal is to raise $10,000 for this charity organization, which Wright actively supported and served. Beautiful Feet Ministries serves meals, distributes clothing and provides medical and dental services to the homeless in Fort Worth. Dallas Flat Glass Distributors, long-time member and supporter of TGA, has offered to match donations up to $5,000, of which 100 percent of all proceeds will go directly to Beautiful Feet Ministries. TGA will be collecting donations both at the golf tournament at the SilverHorn Golf Club and during the Glass TEXpo ’16 show itself.
TGA is also hosting an awards brunch during Glass TEXpo on Saturday, April 9, at 10 a.m., on the third floor of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in room 303 to honor Wright. Tickets are $39.75 per person. Click here to purchase tickets.
