After a short illness, industry veteran James Edward Lehner of Fullerton Glass passed away Sunday, January 3, at the age of 73.

Lehner was born in Pennsylvania in 1942, served six years in the U.S. Army and later relocated to Fullerton, Calif., where he went to work for a small window and glass retailer. He eventually purchased and grew the business into a well-respected commercial glazing contracting company, Fullerton Glass.

He passed away alongside his business partner and significant other of 18 years, Michelle Saavedra. Lehner is survived by his daughter, Michele Dunn, who resides in Las Vegas with her husband.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 8 at All Souls Mortuary, located at 4400 Cherry Ave. Long Beach, CA 90807. Viewing hours will be held from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., followed by Mass from 1-2 p.m. with grave-side burial and reception. More information may be found at www.allsoulsmortuary.com.

  2. My father made Fullerton Glass Company. It started as a small business by doing residential to gradually to commercial and he made a name for himself in the glazing industry. Now that he is gone he will not be forgotten of course Fullerton Glass Company will never be the same without him. MLD
