The FTI 2024 World Congress will be held from Oct. 8 to 11, 2024, at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

The upcoming Façade Tectonics Institute’s (FTI) 2024 World Congress will highlight the latest façade research and developments worldwide. The event will be held from Oct. 8 to 11, 2024, at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

The peer-reviewed paper conference will feature keynote speakers Chris O’Hara, from StudioNYL in Boulder, Colorado, and Geoffrey Thün, a professor of architecture at the University of Michigan. Various speakers will also address industry-related topics, including materials, façade technology, embodied carbon, energy performance of façade systems and modeling.

During the event, attendees can visit Steel Encounters, a local façade fabrication company, and tour the Astra Tower, Utah’s tallest building. FTI will also welcome new fellows into its College of Fellows and hold a gala reception at the University Museum of Fine Arts.
