Every Thursday leading up to USGlass magazine’s 50th Anniversary celebration in August, USGNN.com™ is taking a look back at past issues and highlighting advertisements, stories and images that ran throughout the publication’s half-century life. This time around, we’re looking at a key part of USGlass’ history, which eventually took on a life of its own.

The publication used to include a dose of auto glass coverage, periodically releasing special issues focused primarily on that sector. In fact, from 1993 through 1999, USGlass was known as, “USGlass, Metal, Glazing & Auto Glass.”

In 2000, Key Communications, parent company to USGlass, established Auto Glass Repair and Replacement (AGRR) Magazine, which even today, covers the auto glass industry exclusively. Here’s how it looks today:
