YKK AP America Inc. has hired Jamilla Walcott as director of marketing and product management. In her role, Walcott will oversee all marketing team members and functional areas including marketing, communications, brand and product management, and architectural services/national accounts.

Walcott earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from Syracuse University and holds an MBA from Wichita State University. After serving in the U.S. Air Force as a logistics support officer, Walcott held roles of increasing responsibility in marketing and product management. She has experience in consumer and B-to-B marketing, as well as a familiarity in building products and manufacturing, according to the company.
